HiFiMan Susvara

Any best practices for hanging/storing? I’ve got a couple of ZMF Salires but worry a bit about all the weight settling on a narrow part of the strap, although it’s clamped into the body of the Salire at the same time.

I pulled the trigger on an Arctic Magnus S cable for my Sus (copper). Looks quite stunning with the transparent sleeving on the Litz. The pre-sales service was top class, which is something I appreciate highly when I'm spending $400 on a headphone cable. Lead time is 2-3 weeks. Now the wait begins..

Hey! Was wondering if anyone knows the power provided from the burson timekeeper 3i into the Susvara impedance? Or how to calculate it. Thanks

Burson lists it as 100w into 4/8 ohms.
I'm no engineer but if it's 100w into 8 ohms and the watts halved as the ohms double, and Susvara's impedance is 60 ohms, then it would be about 12w. But Burson could surely provide a better answer!

13 Watts nominal. And do take care in this application, the Timekeeper has zero protection circuit.

Asking at Burson directly would be my suggestion as well. Power output not always halves along with increasing the load twice, but a 100wpc stereo power or integrated amp is more than enough for Susvara.

Seems like the Susvara is the best headphone on the planet.

This would depend on who you'd ask, but it's considered as one of the very best from what I can tell :)

Of all cans listed do you have any specific product that you fancy more than the other two?

Due to a YouTube vlog of Josh Valour at the moment my favorite would be Diana TC!??

If you can afford it and have an amp that can drive these cans, go for it :)

At a level as high as the one you're interested in, realistically there are no bad choices there, only one's subjective preferences. If you're after a new product from a shop, returns are easy these days. Worst case scenario, if you don't like it you'll be refunded.

Can the Diablo drive the Diana TC - and would it be a good combinatio?

As far as Diana TC's specs go our iDSD Diablo would work well with these cans considering it's a transportable device, but not as good as Pro iCAN fronted by a nice DAC.

Is the Diana so power hungry?

Many people would agree that 90 dB/mW sensitivity makes Diana TC not an easy load for an amp. Not as difficult as Susvara, but still not easy
