Ideal for me. Again, depending on what kind of rock ... If the 90s, then LCD-4 may be better. And if modern, then Abyss. All the above-described headphones were with me.What are good complementary headphones for the Susvara? 1266 TC? Any other suggestions? Maybe for rock?

What about 90's rock do you think works better with the LCD4?
More vocals-based alternative-rock-type stuff, with simpler drum lines, etc?
Nice photos, btw.
Let me summarize a little. What about 90's rock do you think works better with the LCD4?
As a former owner of LCD-4, and a very successful copy of LCD-2, and Abyss-1266 of the first revision and CC, I will say this - the point is, in fact, not in some specific headphones, but rather in the correct path for them, and the very combination of them, to cover the "heavy", in particular, genre preferences, such as hard / metal / progressive.
A technical DAC with good resolution and dynamic presentation, but also not devoid of musicality + a pair of powerful amplifiers (transistor and lamp) is quite enough, as the basis for most isodynamics (seasoned with cable harness to taste).
And then, in particular, the aforementioned headphones will fully provide listening pleasure: LCD-2 - art rock, hard rock, metal, Russian rock. LCD-4 - jazz, blues, glam, vocals, doom, gothic. Abyss-1266 - progressive in all its forms, electronics, art-rock ... and so on.
This is just my personal opinion. Yours may not match)

If you allow, can I add some off-topic photos? I hope my post is not banned)
I sometimes take pictures, and I want to present some photos of my favorite city with your permission)
I apologize in advance if this may seem superfluous to someone!

Very nice.
I have Nikon but used to own a Zeiss macro lens. Beautiful lens.
I took a break from the hobby, but this Fall I’ll get back into it during leaf change. I don’t use Photoshop, but use Lightroom.

I love seeing these, especially since I don't know about the city.
Wonder if there is enough interest to start a new thread.

I already thought about it, but in the subject of audio, of course, not a photo)Wonder if there is enough interest to start a new thread.
On Russian-language sites, such as dastereo (only here you have to register to be able to read my thread) and doctorhead, I have had my own branches for a personal setup for 5 years. There is even a small channel where I post my reviews on equipment, which I manage to listen to)

Sorry for the noob question.
If I went for a speaker amp like Roksan K3 power amp, will I need to get a speaker tap adapter or will the XLR out suffice?
I guess I'd need the speaker adapter, right?

That is a wonderful setup. What I really love is the simplicity and cleanliness of your configuration. Awesomeness!!!Brief summing up of the results of the five-year plan.
As I was reminded recently, it turns out that I have been in Head-Fi for 5 years ...
What, in theory, was supposed to become an intermediate link, as a result, pulled into the very abyss.
No, of course, since childhood, I constantly listened to music on a portable device, but the conscious choice to develop in this direction came back in 2016.
For old-timers, this period will seem insignificant, but for beginners - a distant and thorny prospect.
What did these 5 years give me? An unforgettable experience friends! Endless changes of components, wiretapping, cyclic change of equipment - this is generally my trump card), in one word - a process!
And of course the most important thing is the pleasure of the longed-for result and endless evenings alone with her Majesty's music, and sometimes with a bottle of something red, or Beautiful - my faithful Vasilisa)
Looking back, I do not regret the time wasted and the wrong decisions made. For they gave understanding and gradually cut off everything unnecessary. But the necessary acquired special value and began to give happiness)
And here is the result of a five-year hobby in front of your eyes:
You need a speaker tap cable yesSorry for the noob question.

For getting a custom speaker tap built, would you guys recommend to get a 4-pin XLR adapter or rather a 2 x 3,5mm adapter to hook up the Susvaras directly?
The XLR adapter will have the advantage of connecting different cans later on such as TCs...
is there any specific PIN configuration to be considered for the XLR option or just standard female 4-PIN XLR?
