Why not buy it because you will never know otherwise. As you say, just return it if it is not to your liking. :smile_phones:

pulled the trigger, I would have regret not trying it out at 300 :D
Thanks @Miori for your advice (and persuasion :joy:)

How does hud dx1 pair with Sundara's?
overall very good. could stop there. but sometimes you want diversity and maximum power, so the last time I look into this system is to add an amplifier.
P.S
by sound: the most amazing is the scene and the separation. live sound, detail - everything is in place. but a more advanced music system should include a powerful amplifier. although the audinst HUD-DX1 itself is quite powerful.

I see! BTW, I got the aliexpress earpads and... I don't like them :frowning2:. They provide much better seal around your ears, more comfort, and more sub-bass. However, they change the sound of Sundara's that I love. It think it makes the sundara sound warmer and they don't sound as refined :frowning2:. With these pads, sundara's sound more like HD 650's that I don't like... I really wanted to like the pads, because I HATE how stock pads fit around my ears.

Yeah the 650's are like having cotton in your ears.

Hmm.. While it has plenty room for my ear, I feel it's not creating the proper seal. Back and bottom portion is hovering around my ear. You don't notice that?[/QUOTE

Yup, I have the 650s as well as the sundaras, and they are absolutely dull in comparison.
