This thread is meant to be a poll and a reference for which SDHC Cards works and which ones do not.

Please keep discussions down to a minimum so that people do not have to navigate through hundreds of posts trying to find out which cards work and which ones do not.

So, no discussion about wanting SDXC, debating about theoretical specs. Stick to the facts.

It's perfectly OK and encouraged to discuss Card prices and list where you bought them.

Let's stick with the following posting format: Please cut an paste and fill in your info.

Comments—Compliant – with the SD Card Association specification version 2.00
Secure – built-in write-protect switch prevents accidental data loss. Plays all of my 24 bit music just fine.

I think it is worth mentioning on this thread also that using this Kingston card, I had some buggy performance when I loaded 29 GB of Flac files on it. It would take the 801 3 minutes to boot up every time I turned it on, and it never remembered what I was listening to during my last session.

I reduced the amount of music to 24 GB and now it boots up in 10 seconds and remembers where I was last session.

I don't know what is the most you can load on there without problems, but if your 801 is updating every time it boots up, you might try reducing the amount of music you have on the card.

Brand-- Kingston 32GB Secure Digital High-Capacity (SDHC) Class-- 6
Size-- 32GB
Compatible-- NO
Firmware Version/Date-- 0.11/2010-01-11
Comments—Not being recognized at all. Firmware doesn't crash, though. Card just not being read. Tried with just ~400mb worth of music for testing purposes, so safe to say it isn't a "card-too-full" issue.

I made the mistake of buying this card (Kingston 32GB SDHC Class 6) without reading this thread ... and of course it doesn't work!

If class 4 is the limit. Think the ebay generic cards are a good buy? or will the 32g ones not even fit 32g?
