The Monolith seems to have some channel imbalance up to 12 o'clock.
I would take the 1/4 out, and stay past 12 o'clock.

I am currently using a Monolith 887 THX for the HEKV3.

For my liking it has to much Power so I very rarely behind 9 o clock on gain 1. I am afraid of losing dynamic because of it and looking for a burson.

What do you think?

I went thru that THX phase, bought the fiio M11pro due to it being THX ( reference, no coloration) and then mated it to a diablo for its power/dac... I thought it works well and then got the 887, tried it for about an hour then back into the box, went for the A90/D90 stack... it stays around but barely.. it too is dry and no life but has enough power for just playing around... when I want to pull out the EQ on the computer and get everything set up for a proper listen I use the Burson... its like night and day to those " super clean, but dry sounding THX amps) .... the advantage to the Burson is you know how the HEKv2 can be a little too bright on certain songs... with the burson you just put in a different opdamp and it dials the HEK headphones in perfectly.... that amp has enough for the sus and the HE6sev2 and at $3K, its not cheap but its not pushing too far and that DAC/AMP will pare with any headphone...

I think the meze cables have been used before with HeKs but I can't be sure. And yeah, on the THX stuff, I really like my BTR7 with the Kato. But I had an SP200 which used to be a darling amp with the THX 888 chip. That's fallen well by the wayside...

I believe the hifiman cables (eg susvara and others) are wired as ts but they use trs plugs as they are more readily available.

same for headphones like the focal elear but not some sony headphones

You want a airy and diffuse sound:
take the V2.

You want a direct, precise sound, with a lot of impact and punchy bass:
take the V2 Stealth.
