And at least it started with the HE560. Besides, some say to pair wine with cheese, I say why not pair wine with a good headphone?![]()
That would have to be some good strong beer. Not that Cali ipa junk though. Yuck , except Pliny . Killing a duchess de Bourgogne tnite and some franzikaner weissbier. To stay on topic, with the he560. Then maybe an absinthe drip.
Interesting what all of you drink when listening to the HE-560, sorry for getting it a little off track

If we have to pair the HE-560 with fancy beverages every time we listen to them, you can easily go broke![]()
Any Washingtonians, Coloradans, Oregonians get extra soundstage/imaging/realism magic certain times of the day?![]()

Recently purchased these for home listening. I'm driving these using a Bifrost Uber/Lyr 2 w/ Orange Globe tubes. I find myself having to turn up the knob on high gain to the 3 or 4 o clock position when listening to classical music. I've gone as far as all the way on certain passages. I would have expected more headroom. All my sources are at 100% volume. For other musics, the noon to 1 position is fine, but classical seems more demanding.. Also i get more noise than i'd like. Let me know your thoughts.
