Just got word that I will be one of the Beta testers, I'm really excited because these have been # 1 on my radar for a while now. Has anyone else gotten a notice they've been selected?

I was sent a email last night and was accepted as a beta tester. I am still shocked I was chosen.

  I also received a PM last night and just replay accepting the conditions.

Very interested if you still have spots open. Tried these at the Stereo Exchange show, fell in love, and would deeply appreciate the opportunity to delve into a more extended listening experience. I'd primarily be testing against the FAD Hope VI and the Fidelio X2, and would offer a poet's spin on the experience if that's worth anything to you.

I'm curious, would the fact that you posted about your invitation to the test be considered details about the test?

No the terms were basically for pricing, issues or other confidential information. They encouraged us to share our honest impressions though.

I have one question to ask all the testers and I hope they answer it in their review. Is the HE1000 worth $3K?

That's always a tough question to answer...do you mean is it 10 times better sounding then a $300 set. Or 6 times better than the 560, well, it doesn't work that way.diminishing returns sets in as you go up I'm price, and they're never perfect.
