Hidizs AP60 Pro Digital Audio Player

So, the Sdcard must be taken out. The update file should not be added while it's in the AP60 Pro? Thanks for the info about the bugs in the 1.02FW........I'll wait for the fix.
Memory card does NOT need to be removed. I just copied the UPDATE.UPT file onto the card while using USB cable connected to my PC. That file must be on the Root/Main directory, not in any folder to work properly.

Thanks I'll update with the new firmware when it comes out. It's a great sounding player. Thank goodness it was worth the wait. Does the case for version II fit the Pro?

Question about upgrading the firmware. After dropping the AP60_pro_1.02Beta file into my micro card (card was still in player......don't know if that makes a difference), I got the message "Please insert the last disk of the multi-volume set and click to continue." There were 2 options, "ok" and "cancel". Clicking ok doesn't do anything. Clicking cancel gets rid of the message. Because of the message, I'm reluctant to install the update until I find out if it was normal. Is the message cause for concern? TIA

I had more than a year ago the first all-plastic AP60. It impressed me with its sound, portability and different formats capabilities. Its early software was a little troubled but the Home site soon offered worthy upgrades. It always work ed a charm but recently I lost it .

I jumped on the occasion of the PRO upgrade promoted by Hidizs itself via newsletter I had joined. I evolved quite a consideration for Hidizs product. I am kind of confident they will put a better software upgrade soon. [/SIZE]

I hope so, because this latest firmware that I’m now stuck on, is not good. It eats up the battery very fast because the screen can’t shut off. Does anyone Out the have a link or something to the old firmware @Hidizs ?

Firmware 1.0.2 beta available. All files must be extracted to root of SD card to update.

My update worked fine.

The manual says max volume should got to 120. Mine won't go past 80.

Also, i have 24 songs on my sd card, 15 in the root and the rest in a folder. Scan finds all 24 files but play counter only shows 15 songs (if i start playback in the root)

I've toggled the "folder skip" option on/off but nothing works.

Received my AP60 Pro last Friday and I ,must say, I am quite pleased with the unit. Not really designed to drive Massdrop HD6XX cans and I'm a bit surprised as my Samsung S9+ really does a pretty good job with them, but the HD6XX is not what I'd be using with the AP60 Pro, so not an issue for me. It does drives my NuForce EDC IEMs and Hifiman HE400S nicely. This is my first DAP (other than a phone), so I don't really have a basis for comparison, but it seems to do everything I need, plus some!!

I could use a tiny bit of help since my e-mail to Hidizs tech support remains unanswered. Does anyone know where I can download the manual/User guide. The print on the provided hard copy manual is just too small for my eyes. Their support site does not seem to have it available and as stated, my query to support remains unanswered. I'd really like to know the ins-and-outs of using my new toy. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!!

I don't see a online manual, but go on youtube and look for AP60 II reviews they pretty much sum up all the features and how to use them.
