I'm very appreciative of the Hiby Player progress! so much option.
right now I understand I can cast but I'm looking to send music to another renderer, only found google cast.
Is there an menu that I missed?
Hi, if you're referring to HiByCast that's for casting the screen, not the audio, to another player, for remote control. The same goes for HiByLink which mirrors the UI of HiByMusic on another device. Am I missing a new feature somewhere?

Probably not a new feature, in my other player I can project my sound to a physical player using DLNA I guess.
Here I found the hiby cast menu and google cast in another very different place but I missed the DLNA projection.
Thanks

How to turn off shuffle play on Hiby I don't see any option anywhere.
1. Go to Now Playing screen (tap bottom of screen while something is playing)
2. Tap on the icon that looks like a sideways 8 with arrows (shuffle)
3. Until your desired play mode appears

btw, the button at the top of an album is "shuffle all", not "play all in order". If you want to do the latter, simply click on the first track...

Hello All,

I just got a new Hiby R6 III player. All my collection is in FLAC which is stored on the SD card formatted as internal storage. The problem that I am facing is that the Hiby player is not recognizing many of the FLAC files where as other player can easily play those file. Music scan doesn't identify all files. When I try to open up these files on Hiby player, I get the error :

" I/I Error"
Playlist Constructing"

Anyone faced similar issue or know how to correct this?

Regards,

Are other player apps on the same R6 III using the same internally formatted card able to play these same files?

Yes, Joe. The other players are using the same internally formatted SD card and play them properly on R6.

Try restarting the player device, go into HiByMusic again and run a new music scan?

Thanks Joe. I have tried restarting the device, stopping and restarting the player, removed and reinserted the SD card, but nothing helped.

Attaching some images for reference. In the folder view there are 1188 songs (image 1a), but the Hiby music app is scanning only 339 music files( image 1b).

Issues with reading the file in Hiby Music player ( Song Chiquitta by Abba - Image 2a, shows loading for the properties ) . The song is read properly by other player (image 2b).

Let me know if any other info is required. Thanks

Is it the colon in the file path, not sure but maybe Hiby has issues with special characters in file path, can you try to rename it and rescan hiby.

No, I don't think the issue with path. The player is able to read many files with colon in the same path but not all files.

I am coming to think if there is any issue with how the FLAC are encoded/ ripped? Could this be an issue. Is there any way I can check?

Could someone please advise. I downloaded HiByMusic App on iOS (version 3.4.1) and successfully scanned my music library however when I play a track and enable either the equalizer or MSEB nothing happens. No changes to any of the values have any effect on the music. Any idea what’s happening here?

Also is there a way to play Tidal through the HiByMusic?
