Thanks. From what I understand it doesn't come with a protective case in the box, so I hope HiBy makes one available for sale at launch.Couple of more pics from the net

Nice summary on your blog. Are you sure the noise level on 4.4 balanced HO is 4.9uvrms? I see 3.6uvrms in the chart above, which is quite a bit lower than the R6 Pro (5uvrms) and less than half the R8 (8.4uvrms).
If those numbers are correct, and I'm not quite sure what they mean relative to anything else, then this player is going to be very quiet indeed. The R6 Pro is already super quiet with my IEMs.Yep, sorry. My bad. Already fixed. It was absolute noise floor
It will definitely go on sale in China in early NovemberAny info on when this model will go on sale? The website says November but seems more like an aspiration than a statement of fact.
It's not sold in the US yet. Hiby's website says around $799.Read this thread up to here. Maybe I missed it. What is the USA price?
Anyone seen any specs for the OI of the new R6 yet? Both 4.4 and 3.5 if you have them?
The next and most important question will be how they've tuned it. Will it be closer to the R6 Pro's slightly warmer sound, or the R8's slightly cooler (compared to the R6 Pro) sound - or somewhere in-between. We'll know soon enough...No but I am betting no issue there and under 1ohm, Hiby has learned since the original R6![]()
