It only got released officially week a Friday so doubt it yet. Not found one in UK but mine came quick and trouble free from Hiby in China and somehow avoided any customs charges

I'm not sure the release date has anything to do with whether hiby has shops inside the EU or can ship from inside the EU.

I saw your posts about customs and I clicked on Like. But here there is no way to get lucky. Everything goes through customs and we pay 2X the price. We feel lucky when we don't pay 3X

Oh thats bad feel for you. Customs seems to be hit & miss in UK. Been 'lucky' more than not.

It's partly to blame on the EU, partly to blame on the country. Basically, taxing people to death is considered fine in Europe, people are alive only to serve and feed the gov. Various countries are better or worse.

Coming from Shanling M3X (same DAC setup, but also uses integrated amp instead of discrete).

Does the R5 gen 2 have delay when used in USB dac mode? The M3X has a delay of 0.1s, very noticeable when watching movies/playing games. It is also limited to SBC BT codec when paired with Win11 (BTR5 pairs in AAC on same machine).

The Snapdragon 425 is a hard swallow but otherwise seems a very complete package this DAP
