Ok, you understood me correctly, but the problem is not the one I was thinking of so the behaviour is opposite of what I theorized.
In your case it is best to turn the smartphone volume to max and the FC6 volume to as low as possible for the same final volume. This is simply because the smartphone is outputting a digitally reduced version of the signal for anything less than maximum volume and quantization noise of this volume reduction is being amplified by the FC6.
I had assumed that everyone was doing this by default and was wondering if this may be causing clipping in the intermediate processing stages of the FC6 which causes the sounds you're hearing. That's not the case in your case.
Most of my dongle dacamps just use the digital volume and I wasn't thinking when I had it set like that, haha. Thank you for that, general music listening is much improved now. I will say, the YouTube video I've been going back to to test on does still have weird noises during watching, regardless of how the volume is set. But that video sounds fine with my other dongles. It's not a video with music, maybe that's part of the problem, I have no idea. But I've just been only using the FC6 for music now.
Here's what's intended to be the release version of the update that formally incorporates Darwin V2. This will be the same as what gets uploaded to our servers later, unless anyone here finds exceptional issue that we need to correct first.
Installation instructions are included.

Zde je to, co má být vydanou verzí aktualizace, která formálně zahrnuje Darwin V2. Bude to stejné jako to, co se nahraje na naše servery později, pokud zde někdo nenajde výjimečný problém, který musíme nejprve opravit.
I managed to update my device without problems from beta to 1.07, using flashtool. A brief playback did not reveal any problems. Out of habit I started with dfu_tool, but it didn't work: the application closes spontaneously when updating (and writes that the latest version is installed). Thank you for supporting us.
@Joe Bloggs
Installed it, listened it for 2 hours and reverted back to the last beta shared also here.
DFU crashes on update, Flashtool works flawlessly.
With the new 1.07 regardless of the filter (even with the new Darwin Ultra) Midrange and Hi-Mids are too saturated and sound is totally off also, soundstage suffers also a lot.
No crackling sound or hisses.

Flashed new fw 1.07 with dfu tool - ok
Sound after about an hour of operation: Darwin ultra
fantastic sound provided a high-quality hi-res recording: an even wider podium, perfect channel separation, balanced sound in all bands and with a great analog character ...
Number one with an asterisk for me !!!
I agree with @tL47 , there is indeed a difference in sound between the beta version and the new version and its character is described more or less correctly. I need some time to get used to the new sound, but the first impression - yes, it is exactly like that, I want to go back to the old version.
But I'm sticking with the new version and thank you for making it so easy to change versions forth and back!
Based on the posts above tried to re-flash 1.07 with old Chinese language DFU exe as the attached with the package fails. Flash passed 100% then pitch black display on my FC6 and no sound. Panicked and used again flash tool from 1.07 which recognized my black screen FC6 and overwrote with 100% progress but... no display again on PC and no sound. Plugged then the dongle from PC to my phone as a last resort - no luck, black screen again, but then started a track from UAPP and... a distant hollow sound came with blank display again, then switched to the next track in my list and display came on with great sound at Vol. 10. Changed to Darwin Ultra filter and raised Vol to 21 and that is all for me - maybe a placebo after the initial shock, but now sound sounds to me better than beta and I agree with even more depth.
