Hi All,
I purchased a M300 for an older gentleman friend that uses “hearing devices” (Miracle Ear) that connect via Bluetooth.
When using Spotify, his Miracle Ear work well with his iPhone when going to Settings=>Accessibility=>Hearing Devices.
I was not able to make hearing devices work with M300. I can pair them but they do not connect to Spotify.
Does anyone have a solution?

AJ
I use Phonak’s, (sister company to Sennheiser) HAs and cannot connect them to a DAP. I’ve tried 3 different ones. Tech~wise I don’t know why.

After doing more research, it seems “Hearing devices” on Android is a new feature and does not work properly yet. First time I see iPhone ahead of Android functionality wise.
I will keep on searching and post if I find a solution.

Another thing I can't pinpoint is random volume change with AirPods. Basically, after unpausing the volume can jump pretty noticeably both up and down. I think it happens after a pause and a little wait with turned off screen. Happens with both onscreen player buttons and when tapping earbuds. I think the volume slider that appears on the right is off, this slider doesn't seem to be changed after the jump when I adjust the volume manually.
Tried on 2 pairs, Airpods 2 and 4.
@Joe Bloggs Is there a hope to see something fixed, or is it too late? I collected 3 pretty obnoxious bugs already 😢.

Which 3? I count this and the volume warning popping up when you decrease the volume

Yeah another one you already explained, the issue with unpausing and the CPU going to sleep. Still one can hope that something can be done with it.

Would be really nice to have it fixed at least in the successor as I have it constantly using player's physical buttons after a ~1-3 minutes pause. I have to hit Power > Play > Power to resume because of that. Love the player otherwise, it's a pleasure to use it.

One man or woman's "pretty obnoxious bugs" are another man's pretty cool or merely interesting features. All audio gear is imperfectly designed; fortunately there are many options available to LEARN, trial and select -or not, and move on to the next fun one.

with the airpods volume, do you have the "Disable Bluetooth Absolute Volume" option in Developer Settings on or off?

I just picked up a M300 again. The Media volume is set at 14-15, Master normally at 30. I am having an issue, when I start up the unit and start playing music, either immediately or after say waiting 2-3 minutes after starting up, the volume blasts, as if all Volumes are set to 100. Even though both are still at the prior mentioned levels, I have to quickly pull the plug out as it is too loud to deal with. I am experiencing this on both streaming and playing my own files.

Has anyone by chance had this issue and if so, were you able to rectify? I am on the latest firmware; I have no EQ or any other apps also running at the time. This issue happens on all the IEM's and headphones I have tried with, all having the same issue. Any suggestions, as I just grabbed this from Amazon, should I just send it back?

I've been using my M300 on and off for several months now, with Poweramp as the player, and listening via Bluetooth.

Out and about I use Jabra Elite Active 4 earbuds. Indoors I use Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 2 speaker.

I notice split second audio drop outs frequently with both of these. Usually a few seconds into every track, then a minute or two later. Very frustrating, and it's meant I've now gone back to using my old iPod Nano instead (which means I can't carry my entire digital library around with me).

I have the Poweramp Bluetooth buffer size set to Large. I don't get the same dropouts when using Poweramp on my Samsung android phone with the same buds/speakers.

Any idea what's causing this and if there's anything I can do to fix it?

@Joe Bloggs are there any plans to improve Bluetooth stability/compatibility in a future update?

Thanks
