I would say the answer is yes it outputs USB audio and yes you can use wavelet
Hi Joe! I am considering purchasing Hiby M300. Have a query regarding battery life: I only use Apple Music streaming and don't download files. In my usage scenario, will the battery last at least a day? How many hours, any idea? The reason for DAP, for me, is that the phone battery gets drained out rather quickly. Hence, I am looking at a DAP. Do reply when free. Thanks.

I can help you test this base on real experience on tomorrow :)

How to set LDAC as a default bluetooth codec? It always reverts back to APTX everytime I reconnect the bluetooth after setting it to LDAC. In contrary to my android phone, it saves my last bluetooth codec setting.

I am wondering to change my sony 106 to the Hiby M300!
Can anyone confirm if and/or when the aptx is already available in firmware?
Anyone knows which aptx will be supported? Only HD or also adaptive/lossless?
According to a reddit user, a recent update added support for aptx, aptx HD and aptx adaptive.

Received my HyBy Digital M300 and very happy so far. I have already had 2 updates, the last one being the one you mentioned.

At the moment, I have this .apk on my mobile to listen to online radios of 80s music (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gkapps.radio.eighties.pro&hl=es&gl =US) and on the M300 it doesn't work, you try to open it once installed but it just closes. I will look for another similar apk, there are many. I guess it's a specific problem and I hope it doesn't happen to me with more Google Play apks.

The fact that some applications may not work correctly is a common problem on phones with the latest version of Android. It’s just that not all developers test and optimize their applications for Android 13 in a timely manner.

So do I have to rescan the library anytime changes are made to my files? It takes FOREVER to rescan ~19000 songs

can you use some sort of programming to quickly analyze changes in a filesystem rather than brutishly rescanning the entire volume?
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/249371/detect-changes-in-a-filesystem-since-last-scan

A fairly simplistic method would be to take the file system's reported files sizes, dates (as integer values), and file names in a given directory and calculate a checksum you could then associate with that directory. You would still need to perform this calculation on all of the directories using file system data but you wouldn't have to go in depth (opening files to check for differences) unless a checksum reported a difference.

For tracking specific changes at the file level you would store checksums based on individual file attributes, and of the course the presence of or absence of files and subdirectories since the last scan.

This wouldn't necessarily guarantee that changes have not occurred as there are file system utilities for altering all manner of attributes though it would be a good first step for a basic scan.

You may find the source code for fswatch helpful.

It was being worked on, perhaps your suggestion would speed up the progress. The CEO did compliment you on the suggestion.

For now, I would suggest checking out other player apps available on Android, such as Poweramp, Neutron or Musicolet.

Our app is favoured among audiophiles for its bit-perfect abilities in outputting to USB or the headphone jacks on R-series HiBy devices, but these exclusive advantages don't apply to the M300 so feel free to use anything.
