Enjoying my M300 and I’ve sorted out most of the settings to get what I’m looking for from it but one thing is bugging me that I’ve been unable to sort out after much googling.

When I pic the player up and press the side play button to resume a playing session from maybe an hour or more ago and then turn on the screen I keep getting a female Google assistant voice telling me when it’s safe to do blah blah blah. I’ve searched all the android settings and tried turning the notification volume down but that does nothing but add an icon at the top of the screen, she still says the message.

Bought the 4 gig 128 gig model in silver. I actually really like the silver and white. Really nice little dap. Will see how battery drain is. Although I had no problem with my blk one.

Slightly random question. Trying to keep my M300 lean without too many other apps installed, so am using the built-in 'Via' browser (nope, me neither). It's in Chinese. I've changed the language settings in the browser to English, but it's still showing in Chinese, even after a restart. Any ideas how to fix?

Are you sure you don't want to download another browser? You can disable Via via system app settings afterwards.

If they could come up with all those "download Chrome" memes for Edge (a capable browser in its own right), imagine what people are doing with this "Via" which is pretty much only there because we aren't allowed to ship with a browser that points to google?

Yep I disabled that right away, didn't even know it was a browser. But I'd just install Chrome like Joe bloggs said.

On a side note, I actually like the sound out of this better than my 2 expensive dongles out of their 4.4 balanced outs. Granted my stuff is easily driven, but still.

Also, knock on wood, my 2 units are really good on battery and standby time.

Anyone been able to get Simple Scrobbler running on their M300? I've been using the Last.fm app to Scrobble from my Poweramp so far, but find it only queues my offline Scrobbles for a day, and won't post them if I forget to connect the M300 to Wi-fi each evening.

I downloaded the Simple Scrobbler 1.7.0 APK file and installed. Works fine on my phone, but not on the M300 - in the Simple Scrobbler settings, I can't enable notifications (a warning comes up saying something about security settings not allowing me to do so).

Anyone got it working on their M300?

What is happening with this thing? There is unexpected volume changes when connecting IEMs. So im connecting my iem when its in my ears and i got 100 volume for couple tenths of second. That causes jumpscare and also it is painful especially if you quiet listener and using not power hungry IEMs. Will it ever be fixed? If no, i wont use it anymore

Plug in the IEM'S before placing them in your ears.... and you won't hear a volume spike. Just a thought.

Some clarification for my previous post: spike is happening when i press "play". So i need to plug in, press play and then insert iems. Its... weird, isnt it? I dont have similar problem when using other equipment(dacs and daps) and for me its obviously a bug in m300.

I got one, just because I got it on Amazon and wanted silver instead of black. Other than memory I don't notice any diffrence, but the white silver is really nice looking.
