Can anyone recommend a suitable armband for the M300? I can't find any specifically for it yet, but wondered if there's something already out there roughly the right size?
Hi JoeIs this with the SD set as internal or external? And is this with the same lag when actually using the files offline?
There should not be any limit for Poweramp.Hi Joe
Does the M300 have a limit on how many files or folders it can use?
I'm using Poweramp full version, do you know if Poweramp has a limit?
I plan to finish ripping the rest of my CD collection to FLAC.
Hopefully it'll total less than the 476GB my 512GB card can hold but I'm not against getting a 1TB card if that's what it'll take.
5849 files in 445 folders now and I might be closer to 1/2 finished than 1/3.
I also have a few hundred CD's worth of archived FLAC files to add if there's no limit.
Is there a limit on number of folders and/or files?
Thanks.

Good, thanks. There should not be any limit for Poweramp.
I have around 10000 files, everything works fineGood, thanks.
Is there a limit to how many files the M300 can use or is it sky's the limit just keep the total under 2TB?
For file count limits you're probably thinking of the 50,000 file limit on the R1, R2 and R3 (which are not android-based).Good, thanks.

I have a 1.5TB card in mine, with 28,000 ALAC and MP3 tracks and 850 playlists (extracted from my iTunes library XML file using iTunesExport). Poweramp scans them all fine (although it takes a little while doing a full. rescan).I have around 10000 files, everything works fine
I experience the same thing. Still another volume matter, I suppose, though my volume has never changed in my pockets, or the gradual change has been minor and I haven't noticed. I like the locking of the other controls because those are very noticeable, of course; but, I've mostly left the function switch off, and I have had more instances of pausing or advancing music in/with my hand "accidentally", than in my pocket.Am I missing something about the 'Key Lock' setting for the function switch? The only thing is seems to lock are the pause and next rocker buttons. Shouldn't this also lock the volume and power buttons? With the function button on, it's still possible to accidentally turn the volume up and down as I listen, if it's in a tight pocket.
Is there anyway to make it truly lock all the buttons?
My Amazon Music does not stop at any unexpected point. When my app "screen times out" (I have a system setting of "After 30 minutes of inactivity"), I go to my lock screen that shows time and date, and my nice Amazon music keeps playing.I was testing out my M300 last night and am having an issue I can't seem to figure out. I was listening to amazon music and when the screen times out it shuts off the music. This happens every time the screen times out. Then about 10 seconds later it sounds like it is trying to start playing then immediately stops again. I assume this isn't normal? I was planning on exchanging it but wanted to check here first.

I'd start with checking my AM app settings to make sure I don't have something checked or unchecked I don't want, which I wouldn't expect with a fresh install on a new device. Mine does have a stop after inactivity toggled on, for instance. I don't know how the app defines or gauges that, but that's definitely not related to screen timing out.
Then I'd try force-stopping and re-launching the app, and even uninstalling and reinstalling it. I installed AM the first day and haven't had any issues with it. The only other thing that comes to mind is a system setting such as battery-saving, or an app system setting (Settings ->Apps -> AM) but that's not likely on fresh M300 and AM app installs either.
I assume your battery has been full enough and that you've tested with wired connections to control for Bluetooth issues that may have other-than-M300 explanations.
That's all I have. I've been reading this thread and don't recall this or other AM issues much or at all.
Good luck resolving this because the M300 has been a very nice 2nd HiBy player for me, and being able to run AM was the reason I tried it in the first place. This doesn't sound like a hardware issue to me, but what do I know, and the M300 is definitely worth an exchange try if AM is the only thing that is not working for you
