Some brief impressions on the M2pro: The UI is responsive and functional and it's great to see that there is the ability to customize the theme as well, which would be amazeballs. Everything seems to be running smoothly so far. There is a slight lag when adjusting the volume either way by holding the buttons down ie. it will jump 1 or 2 notches more after you take your finger off the button. This will hopefully be improved with a firmware update and thankfully the rest of the UI is super fast and snappy.

By far the most impressive thing about this DAP is its sound. I am just blown away by how good it sounds, especially in balanced. It sounds noticeably better than the Sony NW-ZX300 in single-ended and at least as good in balanced if not better, although I haven't done a direct A/B with them yet. So far I'm just loving the sound and actually can't wait to get home just so I can enjoy more music with it.

Since I don't own any of the bigger boys I can only go by memory from what I've heard at less than ideal (noisy/crowded/short time) settings. I would reservedly say yes on the sound aspect alone but can't say for certain right now. When I get a chance I will take it to a local store for some actual A/B testing with some other flagship models.

Output impedance of single end is 0.2Ω，balanced sorry I don't have exact data.

Yeah the OI is low making this DAP great for sensitive IEMs. I haven't heard any background noise although there is a small pop before playback of the first song - it's before the music starts though so it's perfectly normal.

The sound is nice! SE is great but the balanced out is really freaking good. I'm going to compare with some other DAPs at the weekend and will share some thoughts about it here. Stay tuned!
