OK, so I did something stupid.  I have a pair of SE530's that has the infamous cable rip/cracking syndrome.  I bought a new cable for them (the shure with the coax-tip..just cut the coax tip off).  
 
According to some directions, it says you should be able to pop the lid off with a razor blade and carefully prying the case open.  I did it, and it cracked  in a bunch of pieces.  I then tried to take the drivers out, and the solder pads that attached to the wires pulled right off.
 
So now, I'm stuck with these IEM's that have the shells cracked all over the place and the solder pad missing.  Is there anything I can do?  Can I send them anywhere for repairs?  Should I cry and throw them out?

Don't throw them out. You might be able to get someone to fix them or just reshell them into custom iems. Can you take some pics?  Hard to help without seeing the problem.

You should def. look into getting them your SE530 reshelled. They will even improve sound quality and insolation.

What's about the price to get them reshelled?  Do I need to take a mold?  
 
I'm also asking because Shure offered to replace them with the SE535, but would have to pay $250 for them.  I'm thinking about going that route, but my wife almost strangled me with them after she found out what I paid originally.

Reshells start at $200 excluding the impressions. Impressions can range from $20 to $75.

So now you've got two options, both with similar expenditure:
1. Reshell, but you're stuck with SE530.
2. Replace, but you get SE535. How much of an improvement is it over SE530?
 
Just choose whichever gives you more benefit!

Thanks for the great information.  I think I will end up exchanging them for the 535's.  I'll be happy that these have the detachable cables and they will be brand new and not missing any soldering pads.  
 
If Shure wouldn't give me anything for them, then I would think about getting them reshelled.
