Hello!
I new to the forum. My extent of audio terminology and equipment is wide I know quite a bit about audiophile things. I have eliminated the other headphones from my list (being Bose AE2, Grado SR80i, etc). The two still remaining are the Shure SRH-750DJ and the Audio Technical ATH-A700. I have heard really great reviews on both of them on this forum. I know that both have really good base, mids, and highs. I realize that the 750DJs are for DJ/club/bass whereas the A700 are for audiophile/at home/excellent sound. Each has a high frequency range. The 750DJs have a low impedance whereas the A700 have a high impedance. My likes are really good sound, isolates sound (whether on a bus or plane but not completely), plays most all genres well, and sound pretty good un amped (ie with an iPod Touch 4th gen though i can buy one if needed), etc. I have not heard either headphones.
I am interested in any detailed comparisons of the two and recommendations?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
