Sorry, meant to also say... If SM3, why not SM64? I've never tried Easrsonics, but their sound signatures are mildly similar, right? And 64 I've heard is really technically capable. I'm probably missing something, but yeah haha.

The SM64 bass is special, with little mid-bass hump, but sub-bass extension and strength that balanced armatures supposedly can't deliver. Nice open and wide soundstage (esp. with Phonak tips), rich yet detailed mids along with good extension and some sparkle up top. Overall a very coherent and enjoyable sound from bottom to top.
