I dont use any amps, and i just use my ipod touch to listen to my musics.

I am currently using Koss Portapro, i love it, but it gets annoying to put on sometimes.

So i'm planning to get one of those three!

First i was into s4, then sf5, then re0. I listen to Muse. ( for those who also love Muse, i love to listen to the sick bassline of Chris,
and the magical solos& voice of Matt.)

i want the low :mid : high to be around 4 : 2.5 : 3.5 ---------- you can ignore this part, haha

i wouldn't like soft bass( i want it to be tight, and thumping, i guess)

i heard that super. fi 5 and sf4 are all-around ish, but re-0 is more to the high.

i'm pretty struggling inbetween sf5 and s4.

what would you recommend? Thank you

If you're trying to quantify the balance of the earphones numerically, it seems that the S4 is more of what you want, being v-shaped in nature. The SF5 is rather mid-forward would be more like (3 : 4 : 3.5) in your terms. If I were you I'd also look up the ECCI PR401 which falls right in that price range and is an excellent example of v-shaped (slightly hyped up bass and treble) sound.
