I ordered a set of the Audio Technica ATH-M50's a few months ago and am completely in love with them. My gf has since started to really like full sized headphones too and I figured I'd get her a set for the coming Christmas.
She likes my M50's sound, isolation, and padding, but her biggest complaint is that it is just too big and gives her a headache wearing them after a while (she's pretty small).
I thought that the Audio Technica ES7's would have been perfect for her, but the problem is that they're discontinued and I can't find a decent price (~$100) on a set of GENUINE ones.
If you guys have any suggestions at all for other headphones or places to get the ES7's please let me know. I think that a comfortable set of lighter full-size closed headphones might be a slightly bigger factor than sound quality, given that most of the choices will be a dramatic upgrade from her current IEM's.
Thanks ahead of time!
