Heir Audio 3.ai vs. Westone 3 vs. Westone 4 vs. Sennheiser IE80

To my understanding the 4.ai are more along the lines with the W4 which has a more neutral sound signature than anything. So it wouldn't provide the amount of bass to my liking that's why I'm more drawn to the 3.ai and the W3. I'm looking to spend max $400 on this new IEM so the PFE232 is a bit out of my range unless I wait for earphone solutions to have another sale.

Tinyman how does the 3.ai compare to the PFE232? I think they both share the same V shape signature but the PFE232 has the ability to change sound signatures with the different filters. The W3 seem to be the worst out of the bunch haha at this point.

PFE is better with the mids and highs. The 3.Ai has detailing problems with the mids and has little to no lower treble response which the PFE has. Bass wise, the 3.Ai has more quantity and tightness while the PFE still has a better punch and body.

I've been following the JVC FXZ100/FXZ200 thread and the FXZ200 seem to be very promising. Can anyone comment on how they stack up against the 3.ai, W3 or even IE80? Would greatly appreciate it.

I actually preferred my W3s over my W4s.  My W4s got snatched off of me on the streets a few weeks ago and am now thinking of the Heir Audio 3.Ai or the Fit Ear 111.  Any recommendations?

I would vote the fit ear 111... since its the closest thing to natural sound... :)
