Heed Canamp Vs. Matrix Quattro Full Balanced Amplifier Vs. Matrix M-Stage w/ Class A Biasing Mod Vs. Other?

First, you have to decide if you want to go single ended or balanced. With the latter, you'll have to recable your K701.
The first reviews of the Quattro seem to indicate a similar sound signature as the M-Stage.
I haven't heard the Canamp but many reviews put it in the same category as the M-Stage.
The M-Stage being cheaper, it seems to be the way to go.
However, I have listened at length the M-Stage with K702 (same as K701) and it's a good pairing but with a little grain.
I've also tried all the Schiit Audio amps and the Asgard is more refined but somewhat flat with the K702.
The Valhalla is OK but the Audio Taylor Jade is better for the same price.
However, I was really impressed by the Lyr which is able to awake the bottom end of the K702 and sound really sweet.
For me that's your best bet given your budget.
