I've been using my Heddphone Two for about a month now, hands down my absolute favourite headphone ever!

Just curious about cleaning and maintenance, I'm not sure if AMT drivers have any specific needs compared to dynamics or planars. I typically just blow away dust with a low powered air duster, but I'm concerned if the Heddphone driver would be too sensitive for that. Any other recommendations would be appreciated.

I turned my sub on only and while I'm getting house shake it makes listening to these pretty incredible lol. interstellar soundtrack was vibrating the room. The sensation of raw physical bass and the detail of the headphone was amazing. The mid-bass to low bass in pop is great with these cans so pop music has so much impact, especially when recorded well. The sub makes up for the weaker sub-bass.

One day I will create a listening room so I don't need to worry about the sounds of vibrating objects as much.

Hey, they might look a bit fragile, but are actually very stabile devices. Nothing to worry about. We still have hardcore users in the speaker realm that have been sporting their early ADAM monitors since 1999 with no compromise regarding the AMT whatsoever.

@freddyknop Hello Freddy just curious, would HEDDphone two owners be able to have their HEDphone two retrofit to add the Heddphone GT dampening?
I too would be interested in knowing this. It would also be great to see frequency plots of both versions overlaid to better indicate the tuning differences. I realize that graphs can't tell the entire story, but it would give some sense of the main differences. I just got a notice to pre-order the GT version, but am wondering if it is worth it given that I am so much enjoying the current version.

@freddyknop is the GT tuning a driver tuning change or a pad change?

Hi brams, yes we will def share measurements to show the (significant) tuning changes 🙏🏻 The tuning is a result of an air compliance approach. The AMT itself is similar (yet differently coated to achieve lower distortion).

That is good to know.

It's great to see Hedd taking market feedback seriously and putting the effort in to make what sounds like a substantive change! Definitely look forward to the measurement comparison and hope I can get to actually listen before deciding.

Really curious about the new GT, can't wait to see more info (particularly some FR).

Furthermore I had the chance to interact with HEDD audio customer service and are were pretty quick to respond and quite polite. Too bad there is no loaner program for reviewers/content creators in europe!

Has anyone seen any information about unit variation across the Heddphone Two? I've been EQing them recently and my experience mostly seems to line up with the graphs provided when measured on the BK 5128. The original Heddphone seems to be very consistent among units, and I was wondering if this is also the case for the Heddphone Two.

Edit: Just some additional tidbits I found, measured on the BK 5128, the treble seems to have dips at 4k and 6-7k. All Heddphone Two that I found measured exhibit this behaviour. However this doesn't appear on GRAS systems/clones, such as KB501X. A lot of measurements on squig.link and such use clone couplers however, so measurements don't seem reliable past 3k.

Overall it seems like the variance between units is very low and the tolerance is high, but my sample size is pretty small. The BK 5128 measurements can be found on The Headphones.com review of the Heddphone two, with goldensound and resolve providing the FR graphs (albeit I don't know if this is a shared unit or two separate units, I'm assuming they're seperate).

I have been having lots of fun EQing my HEDDPHONE2 with the Schiit Lokius. I've made them perfect for my ears. Detailed and as enjoyable as possible. They have such great dynamic range and texture without getting to be too much at slightly higher volumes. Without EQ i can't listen to more intense music at slightly higher volumes for very long. For music, EQ enabled for more enjoyment. For movies / general use, the raw information is appreciated.

Interested to hear how the GT sounds.

Has anyone else experienced a bit of positional variance when it comes to the Heddphone Two? Unsure if this applies to the GT because I didn't test it, but the FR seems to shift quite a bit the more forward/backward you wear your headphone.

For me, I get the most "detailed" mid-forward signature but wearing the headphone and pushing the front edge as close to the ear's tragus as possible. If I push the back edge forward instead (away from the tragus) I get a bigger soundstage. Wish I could measure the difference but I don't have a rig, although I'm curious if anyone else has a similar effect.
