You should be good....it likes power...I have a shiit jot but single ended, not enough power...it’s enough but not full...I’ll be reporting back when I try it balancedHi, am planning on ordering the HEDDs and was wondering if my Hugo 2 would be sufficient to drive it or I need more amping? Thanks in advance
I didn't see unboxing of this behemoth. Even the online reviews.
What are included etc.

Ough ... this thing is heavy than I expected. I might have to spend more time to get used to it.
Please bear in mind that's a feedback from a HD800 user.

First impression after listening for 1 hour: With my amplifier, which is a large solid state Yamaha S2100, stock cable sounded a little too much bass for me. I had a Meze silver cable and that worked nicely, making it brighter sounding. The sound has a wide soundstage and is set back a little, not too forward in your face. It is my 3rd top headphone and I like it and will keep it. The instruction sheet says that there is no break-in required.

#1 is my Final D8000 Pro; #2 is ZMF Verite (open) #3 is HEDD. If HEDD could develop some more different ear pads, like a little thinner ,etc. to change the sound. they could be great

Those are both beautiful and I've been really interested in them (like I am with the new Ford GT -- not currently attainable for me). Do you own them? I don't know anywhere locally I'd ever be able to audition them.

D800 pro looks nice, little pricy, not easy to get in canada, there's one on amazon for 4 G....
I have finally joined the club!!
Very encouraging to hear the HEDDphones compare so well to your HEDD nearfield monitors, type 20. Which of these has been getting more listening time? Is there a "best" between these or do you prefer either depending on mood / preferences / music? And I'm sure the equation will change depending on amp / DAC of either headphone or speakers.Been listening with the Hedd for the last 20 min Tool´s Lateralus album (96k flac format)...oh my...
Previously i had the Focal Stellia, but cant really remember the Stellias signature, since i sold it a month ago, and never tested them with my RME DAC, but the Hedd combo with the RME, is like listening the RME with my Hedd type 20 studio monitors, but with a more intimate presentation with plenty of detail and neutrality on all aspects, bass, treble, etc....
I only use Headphones at night, so during the day is the Type 20´s who rule...during the night i always use HP in order to not disturb the neighborsVery encouraging to hear the HEDDphones compare so well to your HEDD nearfield monitors, type 20. I only have 1 Dac the RME, and it´s more than enough for my needs.
