Did I miss anything exciting around here? sorry guys, I've been super busy. Still no cable from ultimate ears, maybe I'll give them a call.

The thing is, I'm undecided with regards to the color matching. If u have notice, the graphics(the logos) all stayed the same. I'm partial to none of the colors, hence asking for "nudges". If there's a collective preferences towards a certain version, I'll likely go for that. Wat's ur take on that?

Oh the body-shells are not meant to have solid colors; they're meant to be translucent red and translucent green/translucent purple.

Still not "light" enough to contrast against the black faceplate?

Alright...now I'm getting kinda mad. When prompted, Andre twice said that he would check on the status of my monitors, and then proceeded to not email me back at all. Then, I sent him an email again two days ago saying that it was taking an awful long time to check the status(8 days), and then he didn't bother to email me back at all. I feel like I'm getting brushed off, and after paying $300 for something and having nothing to show for it, I'm feeling a little mad.

I know it is supposed to take this long, but it would make me feel much better if I knew what is going on.

I feel sorry for your inconvenience. My experience is that you should email him as less as possible. When my impressions arrived his lab, I only sent him an email regarding the arrival and from that time on, I haven't sent any more emails. As result, I got my C1000 after 2 weeks.

If the process is actually slowed down by checking on its status, I would be amazed.
But seriously, if he doesn't respond by Friday I am gonna have to start thinking about posting a Paypal dispute.

I feel you man. I sent him an email yesterday hoping to get a response today, but haven't gotten anything. But keep in mind, Thanksgiving is tomorrow so holidays are usually very slow for people traveling and such.

On the bright side, we both sent ours in at the same time and neither of us have them yet so at least we know we're not being singled out.

We're gonna get through this man

It looks like HY is doing well though. Their site is down because it exceeded its bandwidth limit.
