I've demoed them at the Sony Store in Vegas and I've seen them on display at Best Buy in New York City. They're comfortable, but look tacky and cheap and I think the XB500/700 sound better for half the price.

well they are only about (starting price) 79-90$ which is pretty close to the XB500s.
i havent demo'ed them on their stand but im sure they would sound decent (unjustified statement -_-)
 
i still wonder how they sound.
