Hey folks
I'm from Russia and i want sorry in advance for my english
I have read a lot of threads about headphones for trance music at head-fi.org and haven't found a clear answer .
I'm working at home and trance carrying me to the sky
First off i want to say what i have :

Sennheiser IE-8 - sounds perfect with iPhone

Sennheiser HD 25-1 II   + E-MU 0202 USB ( i hope i will change it soon

 )

I wanna get something better than HD 25-1 II - after couple of hours my ears are sore and exhausted
Majority of threads says that Ultrasone PRO 900 is perfect for club music . What about comfort compared to HD 25-1 II  ?
I'm thinking about Over-Ear  headphones but i can change my mind

Audeze LCD-2 is expensive for me .
I'm looking something in 400 - 500 $ range . Would be great to hear a strong sound change .
Also  wanna know your thoughts what should I  buy instead of EMU 02-02 ? The goal is to improve sound in headphones .
What about http://www.rme-audio.de/en_products_babyface.php      . It's a little bit expensive
Maybe something in lower price range .

Forget to say
The head-fi forum is amazing
I hope i will be your constant reader

Cheers
Vadim

I'm in love with lots of bass impact from closed closed headphones . But it makes my ear sore

What about HiFiMAN HE-400 ? Never had experience from open headphones .
Philips Fidelio X1 -  good variant  for me , because it will be easy to present cheap headphones to friends and think about LCD-2

Found a lot of information about Ultrasone  2900 PRO - gonna think about it .
D500 is very expensive choice and it's closed

Would be great to find LCD-2 in used condition  - best bassline feedbacks so far

Is it possbile to find 500 - 600 $ price?
And what about RME Babyface ?

HiFiMan HE-400 seems perfect for you. Open and closed aren't all that different. Open just gives the airy sound, making it seem far more open. I prefer open headphones, even with Trance and Nightcore genres. Althought it will need an amp, a Fiio E11 is apparently not too bad. But if you plan to just use them at home, consider a more powerful desktop amplifier.

Here's a comparison of open vs closed: http://www.head-fi.org/t/420809/open-vs-closed
