Not sure.. ClieOS, the guy in the Portable Amp forums is from Malaysia and he says it's better to buy from Singapore. Cheaper, and a lot less fakes. lol.
I heard there's a Jaben at KL, never been there before. But I must warn you, Jaben overprices their headphones. You're definitely better off shipping them in from
the US.

Not all Studio headphones are meant for studio use. Some headphone companies paste the Studio branding on their headphones to make their headphones
seem high class. Studio headphones are described to be "neutral" sounding headphones. If the music is bass heavy, it'll be bass heavy. It will conform to the music
you feed it.

I think the SRH440/840 nails most of your requirements. There's a lot more talk on the SRH840 though, probably because they're better sound quality wise.
But these studio headphones are big, since they go around your ear...

It's more portable. But a lot more expensive.

hmm, this is a hard choice. never would have thought i would be spending so much time on finding a good hearphone.
the Shure SRH440 seemed like a good choice, but now that i think about it, most of my music will be played while im walking, so i might need a smaller version.

Anyone know a good Dr.Dre Beats substitute? like maybe same size, detachable chord, and hopefully not as expensive.
alittle bit of a hip hop look, so not the retro or crazy stuff. the beats style,

found these babies? any extra info on them

Superlux HD-668B, semi-open headphones, so while your walking you can hear the cars.

semi open means the back of the cup is not fully closed. Sound from traffic can leak in, sound can leak out as well.

Might be a good or bad thing. All preference.

Superlux headphones don't look durable, and I don't think they fold.

HD25s look quite nice imo, are portable and can very durable. But quite pricey compared to Superlux.

If you want bass, try Sony XB500/700. Maybe look into Ultrasone HFI-580 as well. Portable, foldable.

But these headphones go around your ear, so it's quite big.

koolkat? is the XB300 maybe normal size then? it seems that the 500 and 700 are bigger cup than the 300.
since ill probably like all the soundquality, maybe the XB300 is a good choice. it seems to be stylish enough for me

Not sure how they compare in terms of size..

XB 300 is a little smaller than the others, but still big enough to cover your ears fully.

Last I tried them was about 2 months ago? So don't quote me on that.

You should go for the XB500 or 700 though.

All the Sony XBs are bass heavy. That's why they're called XB - xtra bass.

The XB500 and XB700 are better versions of the XB300. If you can get a good deal on the XB300

and you think they look fine, then go for it.

I like their ear pads. Very comfortable.

Oh btw, there are sites selling the XB headphones for very cheap. Those are very likely fakes from China.

Be wary of cheap Sony headphones on ebay.
