So I recently picked up some ATH-M50s, and am very surprised with how they compare to my HD 25-1 II. One of the important differences seems to be they are 'faster', with electronic music they seem to bring the detail out of the synths more. However, methinks it could also be more detailed highs. So the question is,
1) Are the M50s 'fast' headphones or do they just have better highs than the HD 25-1 II?
2) Does anyone have a list of 'fast' headphones? I know there are some expensive pair of sonys (SA5000? something like that) and I think a lot of IEMs might be fast as well but I hate the darn things.
