I'm ordering myself some AKG 701's in the morning and was going to buy the Fiio E17 as a amp/DAC in one, but I have just been suggested the iBasso D7 which is of similar price. I'm
 
really tempted to go for the E17 because I can get very fast delivery as I tend to be very impatient but I have this little feeling that the iBasso is going to be noticeably better for the price! I 
 
was wondering if anyone could confirm this ? or if you think the E17 is just as good a choice ooooor is there an amp/DAC (USB Preferably) of this price range (£100) I'm missing?

k701s are pretty difficult to drive correctly, they need more cash than 100 euros to be driven properly more like 3-4x the price to be in the ok zone. But try getting the fiio e9, and strap a little more for a music streamer and you should be satisfied.
