How about a Pico Slim DAC?

There wouldn't be any real benefit of that compared to the current Pico DAC, except for size....

Well said! A matching stack of Pico Slim would still be a bit smaller than a Pico itself.

Does anyone know what the price is gonna be around for this?

I'm going to guess $349 and hope for a $299 introductory price, but that is my guess and I really don't know. If the original Pico remains on the product list he might charge more to go small.

I think you're aiming low, and not because of the size, but because of what's involved in the implementation.

That's what I was thinking, but Justin did say he was trying to bring it in at a comparable price point.

Would be insanely great velcroed next to each other to the lid of a netbook. At the moment I use a D10 like that but it is thicker than the netbook itself.

Its "competition" which has fewer features and is larger costs $349 at the introductory price.

Will we ever find out how the final product looks like?

No Pila, we will never find out what the final product looks like. Even when you buy the product, Justin has special cloaking technology for his amps, so the only thing you will ever see are the input and out put jacks and the volume knob.
