agreed. looking at the picture, if the exit is on the left, then you'll have a whole lot of wires jutting out. however, if you plan to use the lod with another amp where a left exit is more feasible, you may want to speak with craig instead. he's extremely flexible with your orders.

From my Nano (5th gen) the audio plug is on the left and the dock is on the right (reversed) so a left exit one would look neater.

Is there an updated time-line for shipping or pre-order deadline?

Also, what amplifier is pictured with the nano to give us a frame of reference when you say "slimmer"

You have to get pre-orders in before the first one ships out if you want the intro price. I don't have an exact date yet.

The amp pictured with the nano above is 50% thicker than the Pico Slim. Also, the LOD I received from Whiplash looks much nicer than the example photo.

Some setups may be better with a left exit, others with a right. It's just not practical to build it with a left exit because the wires are soldered all the way on the left so there could be no room for strain relief. The dock nc8000 posted uses a handmade epoxy putty body so it's not limited by the internal dimensions of Apple's dock connector. If you want to be sure, you can ask Craig, as I already have.

Me thinks it will be a beautiful ting

Justin:

I know you are probably drowning in PMs.

I noticed the spreadsheet still shows my email as missing. I have, however, PM'ed it to you.

Cheers!

Justin, I see that I am on the pre order PDF, but I haven't received any PM with payment instructions or anything.

I see some people paid already, how should I proceed to do this?

Thanks in advance,

Manuel

I will be mostly using a Classic. Would be nice to see a combo with the TWag Micro LOD and the Slim.
