There's only 15 more individually pre-ordered Pico Slims to ship, and they'll go out on monday.  This brings the pre-order list to an end.  Orders can now be placed exclusively here: http://www.headamp.com/order/index.htm

The wait time will be adjusted from 8 weeks to 4 weeks

hi justin

i sent you back my faulty pico slim a month ago for repairs.

i have been told that they would be done next week for each of the past three weeks.

i appreciate that you are busy but could you let me know when i can expect to receive it back? i waited 9 months to use it for a couple of weeks and it's been such a frustrating experience trying to get it fixed i don't even know where to begin.

the issue has been fixed, there was a problem with a buzzing sound that came up after about 5-10 minutes of used.

the waiting is real and can be frustrating, although to justin's credit, it has been resolved.

What was wrong with your Pico Slim?

Hey guys, I'm trying to decide whether to save up for this or an RSA protector, I'm leaning towards this because of the size, but the balanced output of the protector is very intriguing. Any thoughts are appreciated.

If you need a lot of power to drive difficult phones like HD600 or HE-5 LE then the Protector is a better choice, or if you need a little more forward and aggressive sound. This also pairs well with my Westone 3, JH13Pro and UE11Pro IEM.

The Pico Slim is a little more laid back sounding, and a little warmer sounding. This pairs better with my Westone UM3X, ES3X and ES5, and while it's underpowered for my HD800 it sounds better with them at low to normal volumes than the Protector. Power levels are geared for driving IEM, not full size phones, but the sonic balance with HD800 is really good. I haven't tried many other full size phones with them.

Because of size, I leave the Protector at home for use with my laptop rig, and I only use the Slim for portable.

...and this is why I haven't sent mine back for repair. My charge LED doesn't work so it's no big deal.

Not to bitch Justin, I know you've offered to fix mine and I know you're very busy but the waiting game is a reality.
