I have an original Headamp KGSS with dual DACT stepped attenuators. I was wondering, what kind of stepped attenuator is compatible? The current ones have a bit of pop and crackle and I prefer to have more steps to adjust volume.
I would like to swap in something like a 47 step Goldpoint but I don't know what version to get (10,20,50k etc) I know how to solder and did some diy Bottlehead amps but this is my first time doing something on an electrostatic amp. I would appreciate any advice. Thanks.
