Just unboxed the HE-560. i havent even seen these yet as Peter James has been going to shows for me. There is a HUGE weight difference from the HE-500, they feel so light. Look a lot smaller too. Very comfortable. great design so far

Justin just to let you know, Hifiman has recently readded their preorder pads to their store.  A great deal of noise was made over in the 560 thread about how the preorder pads eliminate a 4khz peak.  It might be a good idea to offer both pads for the demo unit so users can experiment with both pads.

wow... such fail. I wait weeks for the next demo but take a break from head-fi for a week and this happens...  
My first demo missed! oh well, I blame the world cup
 
I hope the logistics run as smoothly as the last demo. No more MIA headphones please~
