I'm 19, so I suppose I'm a "Youngun". Great to see I'm not alone in this aspect.

I have had a fairly decent stable (own) income next to my school for the last two years, but seeing what some younger people set aside for this hobby is amazing.

I turned 16 today.
Spent around 1k+ bucks since head-fi.
But I like what I'm hearing, and that's reason enough for spending such an extravagant amount of $.

Holy Crap. $1000s of dollars for people under 18. I thought I was robbing the bank by buying the Tomahawk and now I have to sell it due to financial causes.

Me, Ive only spend about $350 on stuff that I have kept so far, my Etys and HF-1s. I probably lost about $100 to various cables, tips, and amps that I resold. So, $450 max. Which suprisingly is how much I made by selling off that Hornet and a couple other peices in one day. Wow, this is looking more like wave in the ocean than a bank account.

I'm 23 now and found head-fi when I was 21. Because of this site I've purchased the HD 570, HD280Pro, SR-60, and my DT770 Pro/80s are on their way now. My next purchase will probably be a Go-Vibe 6.

I'm 19 and I'm able to afford (and justify) my purchases by being a tight git and having immense money control. Its also great insight on how old some members are. But some of the feedback in this thread is quite astonishing.
