Huh. Do people usually send one, or two albums for their gift? I was planning to send one, but a lot of the photos in last year's thread suggest otherwise.

Hey Miceblue, I think 1 is fine as long as it's something you and your exchange partner go by. There are no set rules, although the guidelines say $20-30. 2 is probably more the norm, not for quantity reasons but just to be able to give a different flavor of music.

Please don't be a cheapskate. By agreeing to participate, you agree to BUY at least one NEW CD or LP for your exchange partner. No pirated material or used items! Rare, out-of-print, or collectible items are ok though. If you can't see yourself spending at least ~$10-$15 (USD) on a music gift for another Head-Fier, please don't sign up.

I have two albums in mind, but I couldn't decide which one to gift. XD
I guess I'll send my partner a PM about whether to send 1 or 2 albums.

My partner and I agreed a limit and that we are happy with Amazon used CDs as the budget will stretch further. I buy a lot of older albums this way and have only ever had to exchange one duff CD.

I usually shop used on Amazon as well, however the rules says new and not your used stuff. Shoulda talked it over with my partner but too late. Next year I'll keep the used idea in mind, for the price of 2 you can have 4-6 depending if you shop from the same used seller.
