Head-Fi 2010 Christmas Gift Exchange Whadjaget? Thread

I got my CD! my partner Jonas aka banko sent a great little find. EfterKlang's album Magics Chairs. A group I am unfamiliar with. To me, it has a Beck and Police vibe to it. Thanks to Jonas, the mods, and Head-Fi. Have a terrific holiday everyone.

A bump for this thread, my partner was Vikingatheart and I received Silent Alarm by Bloc Party 

my partner was macedonianhero and he sent me Moving Pictures and Permanent Waves by Rush, which is awesome cause i love rush, i just never got around to buying any of their cds!!

 Yup! Thecoolguy sent me Thick As A Brick by Jethro Tull. It was a pretty great listen on the first run, but it's getting better each time.

UncleJ sent me a great double cd that I am enjoying!

I can't believe you guys open your gifts early! Sheesh. I have my gift from J W, and I'll open it on Christmas morning, as always.

Hopefully mine will get to him in time :) if not, I apologise, but it's worth the wait :)

I envy your patience. I am always jonesing for new tunes, so I ripped it open right when I knew it was in the house

And I got A Fine Frenzy (One Cell in the Sea) and Protest the Hero (Fortress). Both are great and help expand my musical horizons!

Kings of Leon's Aha Shake Heartbreak

I haven't gotten a chance to listen to them yet, but I'm ripping them for my flight.  These CDs couldn't have come at a better time as they will help with the long flight.

I'm already pumped about this exchange for next year.

I received my CD while I was out travelling but my girlfriend was home and said I had received a package from Amazon.com, I asked her to open it as I was so looking forward to see what my gift partner baka1969 had come up with. :) It turned out to be "Lunatic Soul 2" by "Lunatic Soul"... A new discovery for me, which was what I hoped for. The music is great - thanks Ross. Kind of Bon Iver and Eddie Vedder meets Electronics - really nice and relaxing to listen to.

And the experience, anticipation and joy of this gift exchange is unmeasurable, thanks head-fi, mods, etc. Great tradition and will certainly participate again next year!
