Just let your ears adjust for Pete's sake.

Yeah, the RE2 are dynamic, so should improve dramaticallly with burn-in.

If they were going to change, it would be equally likely that they would get worse.

They are not going to change. Your ears and brain will adjust to them if you listen to them enough. They are always going to sound "thin" -- they are not bass-heavy at all.

Remember however that bass-light != 'thin'.

My iM716's are bass light (on HD mode) as well but sound fuller than my RE2's.

hi guys...
just having my new pair of RE-2 for about 1 week for now..
and IMHO, RE-2 is one the IEM's that badly needed amps to crank the sound up, there were a lot of improvements after amping it.
FYI, i'm using it with my DIY CMOY amp, FiiO E5, and also iBasso P2..
and for now, the P2 really cranked it up alot.. the bass was there now!

Just want to remind you that listening out loud is not good for your hearing.

Ok. Just an update, after 50 hours of burn in, these have become quite a bit more full, but not as full as I'd like it. Treble is really good but not as good as the iM716. Detail is also quite good, but once again, probably not as good as an amped iM716. Midrange is perfect. Also the bass is a bit more "there". These are becoming pretty good.
