Hmmm, mine should be available September 23 also. Now, anyone have any idea how much the import duties will be for $4920, about 5%?

So do you lucky SOB’s have your electrostatic amps ready?

What type of amps are you (see above) guys getting or have?

Jealousy brings out the worst in people- where’s my Gpalmer voodoo doll? I need more stick pins, the long ones.

Here I am debating if I should throw down $200 on a pair of headphones.
And here you guys are throwing down thousands....Just wow.

PS - Are any of your places of employment hiring?

You do realize these are considered to simply be the best in the world by many on this site, right?

In what price range might you find the best speakers in the world?

I'm not an expert when it comes to headphones, but I do know for a fact that for $5,000 you can get yourself a very nice pair of stereo speakers.

There are of course speakers costing more than what an average house will cost, but I'm not sure how "good" those esoteric speakers really are.

And a pair of Nautilus 801's is more than what most people will ever need for a lifetime of music enjoyment. And that's what I'm saving up for.

As to $5,000 for a pair of headphones, if you have the cash, then go for it.
