Wow considering that they are an authorized dealer, sennheiser normally strongarms their dealers into selling the HD800 at full MSRP.  Either they bought in major bulk or they're about to get the hammer from Sennheiser.
 
If you want non-authorized, theres a seller on Audiogon (Will2 I think) who sells them new for 1099.  I'm not sure which S/Ns you'll get from him or from IQ for that matter.
