Went to a meeting for a bit with the boss man, come back and what is sitting on my desk. Oh it's a box from FEDEX.

HD650s have arrived!

Having no amp at work I had to hook them up to the headphone output of my iriver which took about 95% volume level to get to a normal listening level. My amp is still being built by misterX so I was in a bit of a panic for tonights first listen on the home rig. Thankfully a friend of mine had a headroom total bithead sitting around since he got his glite.

So I'm currently running XFI->Headroom Total Bithead->HD650 and loving every second of it. These are exactly what I was looking for. Now the painful wait for the M3 to arrive

Same here,I've had the 600s for over a year now and love them.But I keep thinking if the 600s sound this good the 650s must be incrediable.

I was going to go with HD600s, but the price on HD650s from headroom was too good so I figured the upgrade was well worth it

Now the unpatient waiting for the new amp

As much as I'm loving these HD650s, the MS-1s I have still shine for guitar heavy rock tracks. Dragonforce on MS-1s == pure bliss.

Ditto, the HD 650's sound incredible; they are very hard to resist! You could say that an added bonus to buying HD 650's, is that you get an entire music library along with each purchase. (Size of your library may vary)

Got my hd650's yesterday. I've owned the hd580 and sr325i for a few years. my setup is denon 2900 -> Antique Sound Labs MG head otl mk III tube amp -> hd650.

loving them right now, enjoying the nuances the hd580's couldn't quite reach.

hahaha, so true. you should see the stacks of CD's littering my desk right now.
