Hi guys. I own the sennheiser HD-580 but by luck I have found the HD-600 for very cheap. Do you think I should just dump the 580's and get the 600?

Also, just as a reminder, I own cheap equipment.

I personally like the sound of the 600 much better than the 580, but to be honest the difference between the two is like 25%.

I would get the 600 over the 580, but if you already have the 580, I would stick with that. Since you have cheap stuff anyway, the difference you would hear may be even less than 25%.

I say worry about upgrading the rest of your system before getting another pair of headphones.

Yeah, spend that money on the rest of your system first. The 580s won't be a weak link for quite awhile.
