So i ordered a set of HD598's and I know the HD5-- series crack near the Sennheiser logo. Any idea on preventing them from cracking? maybe taping the plastic before the crack even starts or something else? I love how they look and don't want them to crack..

its inevitable, almost all of them crack on the left side of the headband at sennheiser logo. But it usually stays as a small crack and doesn't become bigger.
in fact, the one you receive might have the crack already
