i never had problem with earwaxes tbh...just dry crusty bits n boulders...
sometimes they get dislodged with heavy bass, n smash against the filter,
just shake my head side to side, n onto the streets they go. lolz.

Asian earwax is different, I think. Flakes instead of goo. And they say Turkey is the gateway between Europe and Asia. Which means Turkish earwax is the gateway between the two worlds of earwax.

Was that you on the Chinese thread?

Which one is the best match with B3? Do you use 06mx as dac/amp or player ?

You can't get good bass without proper seal. Previously reported that another eartip from an iem manufacturer gives good results for large ear canals. I think @analogsurvivor may help (give info) on this... Because he uses one. Senn "Large" tips may not seal well if you have a large earcanal because its not much larger than medium ones... But you can try it anyway... IMO

I did not check this thread for a couple of days. I use tips from Xkdun CK-M700 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OEx9TvKFQE4  Appearently, they are sold out
http://www.dx.com/p/xkdun-kc-m700-rhinestone-in-ear-earphone-purple-3-5mm-jack-120cm-cable-139352#.U53eUPl_t0Y - but maybe they still can be found on focal price, tinydeal, etc. As I was going trough my other Xkdun tips, i just this moment found out the M size tip from CK-820 has larger bore, despite otherwise being the same dimension as from CK-M700 - giving a slightly different, brighter but surprisingly not less relaxed presentation. YMMV. CK-820 can still be had (albeit in purple; mine is blue ) : http://www.tinydeal.com/xkdun-ck-820-35mm-stereo-metallic-in-ear-earphones-w-mic-p-66925.html And green: http://www.dx.com/p/xkdun-ck-820-stylish-in-ear-earphone-w-microphone-blue-white-3-5mm-jack-150395#.U53pmfl_t0Y

As I wrote in the Xkdun ( Focal price IEMs ) thread, the tips themselves are worth the price of admission.

It is interesting that for good seal I use M size tip with Havi and L size with any Xkdun - and I wear them all cable straight down.

You will know if the tips achieve good seal by playing this:

Havis are capable of quite decent bass - provided tip seal is OK and amp is up to snuff.

AA batteries?

What is this, a Walkman?

No exact idea, but it is a DSD capable player capable of some serious juice for headphones - and that has to come from somewhere.
I find AA batteries is a user friendly feature - as more commonly (these days) used Li Ion batteries, once depleted, have to be recharged for quite some time, whereas AAs can be exchanged for another set, giving you minimum downtime. And you can get AAs practically anywhere in reasonably civilised world - try that with exact LiIon battery type used in XY device while travelling in a foreign country...

B3 through AK100 is not quite as dynamic as through the GO1000, and it could do with a teeny bit of extra warmth. but it gives unparalled soundstage and clarity.
