Hey, saw a guy with these the other day and he let me try them and they were pretty good in all honesty. It might just be because I've never used open back headphones, but they look some what promising. Best part just $20 at Wal-Mart :p

They remind me of some headphones awhile ago that were sold only in Canada for really cheap. It was considered something like a hidden gem on Head-fi at the time. I don't know if these are the same ones but they look like it. It looked like an ATH copy too. I can't seem to find that thread.

I remember there being a thread about these in the past saying how they were a godly deal for their price, and I remember the stated price was $40.

Edit: ^Whoops he beat me to it, didn't read the previous posts.

So I should probably pick these up for $20 :p and yeah I thought they looked a lot like the AD700. Was pretty close to buying them, but then thought it was too good to be true, but for $20, don't got much to lose :)

For $20 I wouldn't expect much compared to a $100+ headphone....

You're right, thats why i see the build quality doubtful....probably breaking after 1 month of use.

I started the other thread. If they have dropped the price to $20 these are an even better deal. I do recommend re-cabling them though as their cable is absolute garbage. BTW these do not sound anything like the AD700, they are more like a cross between the AD700 and the HD600 in regards to sound but with a bit less detail. The bass is the biggest area that is improved by re-cabling. As for build quality, it is low but I do think they will hold up a bit better than some would suppose. My pair was still holding up strong as are the other pairs I know were bought by other head-fi members. BTW when I suggest recabling I'm not talking crazy expensive cables, I had mine redone with some reasonably priced Mogami cable that was around $15-20. The cable made them heavy on the one side but still quite manageable.

Picked up a pair today and so far I am pretty impressed. Obviously they aren't nearly as good as my M50s, but I am excited to crack these things open and giving recabling a try, wish me luck :p!

Where have you guys been getting them?  Are they confirmed to be only in Canada or are they in US Walmarts as well?  I might have to swing by a walmart and pick up a pair.

The previous post and a quick search of the US Walmart site seem to indicate they are not available in the us... But I am unsure where the op for this thread is from?

And wow, Walmart sells a lot of different headphones! Including a few brands I didn't expect like AT and Senny!

I'm from Canada and according to the older thread on these, these are exclusive to Canada. We finally got something cheap muhahahaha! A quick update after using them for a few hours is that I am slightly in love with these :p.
