what are your impressions of these headphones? which has better sq, clarity, soundstage, balanced sound?

Heya,

They are literally the same headphone in all ways except aesthetics.

I liked the SR850 better, strictly for looks. But again, they are literally the same headphone, same driver housing, everything, just different headband style.

Very best,

lol ok. i might as well get the samson. after 2 months of looking for a good budget headphone for gaming and music i have finally decided.

The HD-668B is 56-Ohm, the Samson SR850 is 32-Ohm.
HD-668B has a detachable cable, comes with a 3' and 10' cable.
The SR850 has a fixed cable.

what does the ohm difference mean?

The lower the Ohm rating, the easier headphones are to drive, best for portable devices, mp3 player, cell phones, cheaper sound cards, etc.

Higher Ohm's can make really good quality sound, but need better quality source, like a headphone amplifier, high end sound card, stereo receiver, etc.

56-Ohm is still in the lower Ohm range, 100 to 250-Ohm is were you need/want at least a decent source.
250 to 600-Ohm headphone really need a good source.

You can get really great sounding headphones with low Ohm's, but that like $200 plus dollars.
