Which screws are these? Only the outer ones, just enable the lower ones? Is it necessary to dismantle the cover as well? It's worth a try

I will try and let you know how I believe in voodoo in hifi. I was pleasantly surprised more than once.Start with the bottom screws. Look if they are to tight fastened. If you struggle to unfasten the bottom screws, then they are to tight.
When you tighten back the screws, then give them only a faint tight.
Not every device is affected by to tight screws, so the outcome on this tweak can vary from device to device.
Did not believe in Voodoo either, but this tweak took me by surprise.I will try and let you know how I believe in voodoo in hifi. I was pleasantly surprised more than once.
Have noticed any improvements by loosening the PCB boards?Hello,
I'm helping a little.
Turn the Gustard over onto a soft surface or use a support.
The arrows marked in green show which screws you loosen in the picture.
You will see double screws on the left and right, one at the top and one at the bottom, in the middle and further down.
The bottom of the double screw loosens the bonnet.
Drehen Sie den r26 um und lösen diese Schraube in Bild zwei.
Und können dann die Haube lösen, ohne das etwas passiert.
Back to picture 1:
The arrows marked in red are the screws from the circuit board.
Loosen them first, that's all.
Continue in picture 1, loosen the 4 screws completely and put them to the side.(yellow arrows)
And carefully take down the R2R conductor by lifting it only in the middle and then opposite. The R2R conductor is clipped.
If you do not dare to do this, leave it alone.
After removing the conductor, there are 2 screws to be loosened.
The next step is to loosen the screws at the connections.
I left the 10 mhz and Bluethooth connections in place and loosened everything else.
When you have loosened everything, first tighten the screws on the circuit board.
(Red arrows and the R2r wire back on and tighten the screws crosswise slightly).
Here I tightened the screws until they were tighter and then turned them back a 1/8 to 1/4 turn.
Once you have done this, do the same for the connections.
This has the following effect:
You take all the voltage out of the board without putting pressure on the connections.
Finally, put the cover back on.
You can also loosen the very large Allen screw on the back and tighten it slightly again. These are the screws for both transformers.
That´s all.Hope it helps.
thanks for sharing, could i ask will the sound be more full or more airy doing this mod, especially in the mid range and vocalsHello,

That’s what she said! No, everything was fine with my unit.
Nothing stuck out where I would say it was too tight.
It was all tight but not too tight.

Yes, I did it this afternoon when I opened it.What you described above in your post, have you done this to your DAC?
What was the outcome?
I want to upgrade my R26 to a TEAC ud701nI want to upgrade my TEAC NT-505 to R26.
How are these two compared?
Thanks
